From Green Bay to Appleton to Oshkosh and everywhere in between, the entire Fox Valley is overflowing with networking events. If you like formal and structured events like BNI we have you covered. If you enjoy casual morning chats with like-minded professionals in the area then we have that, too!

Get Out And Meet Some People!

Apple Growers (now a Passing Leads “Loops” group) – This group meets weekly at Osorio’s Latin Fusion (1910 N. Casaloma Drive, Appleton, WI 54913) on Thursday mornings at 7:00 AM. It is a professional and dynamic group that has passed an impressive number of referrals since its inception in late 2012. Contact us for more information about where the next meeting will be held or if you would like to be a guest at the next meeting.

BNI (Business Networking & Referrals) - There are numerous BNI chapters spread throughout the Fox Valley. You can locate existing BNI chapters by clicking here, or you can send us an email and we’ll see if we can help you find a group here in the Fox Valley that would be a good fit for you and your organization.

THRIVE LunchTHRIVE Lunch is kind of on the opposite side of the spectrum from BNI. It’s a completely informal get-together at a different locally-owned restaurant each week. There are THRIVE events in Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, Wausau, and elsewhere. THRIVE Lunch events in Appleton and Oshkosh typically number roughly 10 to 20 participants, but we’ve seen as few as 6 or 8 and as many as 30+. If you can’t make the weekly lunch, check out THRIVE After 5.

TYP (Tuesday Young Professionals) Green Bay - Held every other Tuesday at 5:00 PM in the Green Bay area, the TYP event is more social gathering than business networking (but a lot of both takes place). This event caters primarily to a 25-40 something crowd (but there is no official age limit) and attendance has really have taken off. Contact Stacy Schlemmer for details.

Fox Valley Networking Professionals – Held every second Tuesday at 7:30 AM, FVNP meets at the Days Inn located at 210 N. Westhill Boulevard in Appleton. Contact Dylan Diersen for more details.

Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce – The Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce is the largest of the three Chambers in the greater Appleton area (the others being Heart of the Valley and Fox West). With 1,300 members, Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce is the third largest business organization in the state. It offers a wide range of services and opportunities, including numerous networking events, chief among them the monthly Business Connections. The Business Connections are catered events that can draw a couple of hundred members each month. Need more information? Get in touch.

PULSE – PULSE (Fox Cities Young Professionals) is a program of the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce that helps young professionals in the Fox Valley jump start their careers through networking events, social events, professional development, volunteer opportunities, and more. PULSE, along with The Post-Crescent, also administers the Fox Cities Future 15 Young Professional Awards. The Future 15 recognizes young professionals who excel within their places of employment and in the community.

Heart of the Valley Chamber of Commerce – The Heart of the Valley covers the communities immediately to the East of Appleton, such as Kaukauna and Little Chute. Of course, being a member of one chamber does not preclude membership in another, so there is a little bit of overlap between Fox Cities, Fox West, and Heart of the Valley. Events include ribbon cuttings, P.M. Connect business networking, and more.

HBBA – Originally formed as the Home Based Business Association, the HBBA has since expanded to include and support all business types and has grown to 25 chapters located throughout Wisconsin. The HBBA offers education, support, referrals, and networking opportunities. Dues are less than $100/member. There are two chapters in Appleton, one in Kaukauna, one in Neenah, two in Oshkosh, and 10 in the Green Bay area (including De Pere).

Entrepreneurs AnonymousEntrepreneurs Anonymous meets on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at Sidelines Sports Pub & Grille in Neenah. Each meeting has a topic of discussion, including items such as websites, marketing, taxes, collections, open forums, employee, management, etc.

Passing Leads “Loops”- Passing Leads “Loops” meets at the 5th Quarter in Little Chute on the first and third Monday each month. What’s the “unique” factor? Meeting formats always change and are heavily emphasized about learning deep aspects of each business owner. They are also interactive sessions, so you can learn best practices from other business owners which you can apply immediately into your business through extensive one on one sessions.
